Roman Forum

The Forum Romanum, or Roman Forum, was the center of Rome at the time of its peak between 100 BC and 100 AD. Here its victorious legions held their triumphal marches, the deaths of famous people were made public, and emperors dead bodies were burned. Here we can see numerous examples of Rome's temple and bacilica architecture.
