Jordan's Favorite Parks
Date: Aug 20, 2011
Here is a working list of all the various parks Jordan and I visit that are close enough to run to:
Parkside Park
Jordan and Eloise liked going to this park in their younger days. It is near the pool, has a steep hill for rolling down, and has beautiful tall trees alongside it. Unfortunately with no swings, unless Eloise is going, Jordan typically will pass on this park.

Cambria Park

This is our favorite! This park had shade, swings, a small soccer field, a path through the woods, and best of all, easy access to the train tracks.
Distance:0.7 mi. Size: Medium Swings:yes
Wells Park

This nice fully shaded park has swings and easy access to the train tracks as well.

Ken-Gar Park
Distance:0.9 mi. Size: Medium Swings:yes
The "Bus" Park

White Flint Park

Jordan and I used to visit this park on the way to buying groceries at Shoppers. Unfortunately it was burned down by some local teenagers in April of 2011.

Viers Mill Park
Distance:1.4 mi. Size:Large Swings:yes
Cedar Lane Park

Cabin John Park
This large shaded park features plenty of swings, equipment, and a mini-train that kids can ride around the forest.
Distance:3 mi. Size:Extra-Large Swings:yes
Old Reliance Park
When Jordan visits my parents, she will make a stop swing at this park. This park had bady and big girl swings, slides, and plenty of grass.
Distance:100 mi. Size:Large Swings:yes
Arnold Park
This large park features a vast array of swings, a large sandbox, plenty of slides of varying sizes, ramps, climbing walls, and a large area of grass.
Distance:200 mi. Size:Extra-Large Swings:yes
