Hiking Near Boulder

Rocky Mountain National Park- Sky Pond Hike
From Estes Park, we entered from the Beaver Meadows entrance. We drove on Bear Lake Road to the Park and Ride. From there a shuttle took us to the Glacier Gorge Trailhead.
Passed Alberta Falls, The Loch, Timberline Falls, Lake of Glass, and then to Sky Pond
Took about 4 hours, 30 minutes round-trip including stops
See MapRoosevelt National Forest- Hike to Blue Lake
Drove through a tiny mountain town called Ward. Passed Mitchell Lake, included small snow glaciers. Blue lake had terrific views of Mount Toll. Total hike round-trip was 2 hours, 50 minutes including a 25 break at Blue Lake.
